My name is Jessica Dresser. I am a wife to a wonderful man and a mom to 5 little ones.
I have been fascinated with all things birth and baby since I was a very little girl. I can still remember playing “obstetrician” with friends of mine when we were 8-ish years old!
My first two children I didn’t think too much about the birth process. I had the mindset that doctors knew what they were doing and I trusted them blindly. When I had my 3rd baby I really started researching, but was not ready to fully commit to, different birth methods. In between baby #3 and #4 I really threw myself into research and established my own views and ideals for birth.
I decided I wanted to become a certified doula, despite having attended many other births unofficially, early in 2013 and I was so excited to hit the ground running with that. I am now a certified birth doula, as well as a childbirth educator and placenta encapsulator. I also work as a birth assistant for a local midwife here in Casper, WY.
Birth is not just a hobby, birth is my passion. I believe that each person’s birth journey is so special and individual and I love that my job is being able to walk the journey along with them.
